I have been using Flowol 3 and Flowgo interfaces for many years, with Windows Vista for the past 18 months.
I have logged in to each machine as administrator and installed the driver for the interface and when users log in the system has been working fine. However during the last few sessions as pupils are working the software will suddenly lose connection to an interface and won't reconnect so the user has to log out.
I've never been at a workstation as it happens so don't know the exact circumstances leading up to the disconnections and can't work out why it is getting worse. The Flowgo interfaces are about 7 years old but the physical connections seem ok, the computers are 18 months old.
Can you help?

Hi Ian Miller,

It's peculiar that it seems to have got worse over the last couple of sessions. Can you give me a little more information so I can investigate this further?

1. Are you using Windows Vista 32bit or 64bit? [The System Control Panel indicates this under 'System Type:']

2. Which version of the FlowGo USB driver is installed? [See this by first connecting the FlowGo interface to a USB port on the computer, then open the Device Manager from the System Control Panel, and expand the 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' node at the bottom of the list. There then should be a 'FlowGo/Solo Device' listed, right click on it, choose Properties and then open the 'Driver' tab. The version number is listed next to 'Driver Version:']

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by this. I hope we can get to the bottom of the issue soon.

Best Regards,
